Experience

AI Engineer (Contract), ProService Hawaii

www.proservice.com/

AI systems for pricing review at Hawaii's largest HR/PEO provider.

  • Built a deterministic and LLM-enhanced pricing-review system that runs a multi-domain analysis spanning profitability, billing integrity, labor burden, and risk exposure across a client book of thousands of businesses.
  • Modeled the annualized dollar impact of extending the system book-wide, stating sampling method and capture assumptions explicitly so the estimate could be challenged on its terms.
  • Partner with non-technical pricing staff to convert undocumented business rules into enforced logic in the pricing database.

Selected Projects

Forpono, Multi-tenant SaaS platform (DDO Tech Solutions)

forpono.com

  • Architected and shipped a multi-tenant platform serving customer sites across *.forpono.com plus a separate admin application, built as a Turborepo/pnpm monorepo on Next.js 15 App Router, Supabase/Postgres, and Vercel.
  • Implemented host-based tenant resolution in middleware, per-tenant sitemap generation, and a single-source indexing predicate governing both robots metadata and sitemap inclusion.
  • Built a manifest-driven smoke suite run on every merge that asserts SEO and indexing invariants in both directions and fails on unreachable targets rather than skipping them.

workflow-intel, AI workflow intelligence system

  • Built a system that continuously gathers and analyzes how AI tools and workflows are being adopted, turning scattered public signal into a searchable, current picture of the landscape.
  • Delivered it as a production dashboard that answers questions by meaning rather than keyword, so the useful result surfaces even when the wording differs.

PACE Bot, Realtime voice and text AI avatar for a university entrepreneurship center

  • Built a conversational agent with realtime voice via LiveKit, deployed as separate front-end and agent services on Railway.

flyer-bot, Marketing automation pipeline

  • Built an automated pipeline that generates and distributes marketing collateral, integrating LLM generation with scheduled and event-driven triggers.

EL3vate, Resource platform for a University of Hawaii faculty development program

el3vate.forpono.com

  • Built and shipped a digital home giving participating faculty a single place to find the materials relevant to their own discipline.
  • Designed it so program staff can update content live during a session and publish in one step, with deploy gates that prove themselves against deliberately broken fixtures on every run and refuse to publish past a failure.
